Barbara Gregory, VMD
Veterinarian
Dr. Barbara J. Gregory has always felt a strong compassion for animals and a devotion to their care, so it seemed natural for her to pursue a vocation that followed her heart. After graduating from Delaware Valley College and the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School, Dr. Gregory joined the team at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital in 1988 where she practiced as an associate veterinarian for 9 years before becoming co-owner of the practice in 1997. In 2020, she sold her half of the practice and transitioned to part time position for 3 years to show her gratefulness and appreciation for the relationships and bonds she had developed with her clients and their pets.
In May of 2023, Dr. Gregory retired from Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital primarily to care for her mother and pursue new adventures. Currently, she remains on staff at Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital as a relief veterinarian and performs surgeries at Peaceable Kingdom and Furry Feet Rescues.
In her free time, Dr. Gregory enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, playing pickleball, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. All those activities are more enjoyable with her rescue dog companion, Skye, and her at home cuddle cat, Parker.
“I am grateful to have achieved my lifelong dream and I cherish the relationships I have embraced along the way.”
